Companions Guild Tea Ceremony

Close your eyes. Take a deep breath. Forget the hassles of the day. Relax. Everything is going to be all right. Here, have some cake and tea. There, isn’t that better?  🙂

Beeflin Grut of the Companion’s Guild hosted their traditional Tea Ceremony inside the Expo’s small theater, painstakingly guiding us through the elaborate steps. The ceremony ended with a traditional Japanese dance.

All too often, the make-believe world of Second Life, where we come to play and have fun, has a tendency to turn into a rocky emotional roller coaster, so a quiet, peaceful roleplay session like this can be weirdly but importantly relaxing, refreshing, and rejuvenating.

A giant thanks goes out to the entire Companions Guild for taking the time to care for our emotional needs.

Thanks!  🙂
